Multi Tasking with Multiple Computers


Sometimes having two video cards installed on one PC isn't enough. For example, I have a small tablet computer running Linux and Apache, while I have a Windows 2000 desktop machine running Lazarus, Text505, Total Commander.

When I'm done editing my files, I remotely compile the application on the little linux tablet, but from the Windows 2000 machine. Then I also check the website on the linux apache server, remotely from the windows box.

Having more than one system running requires concentration, and is actually detrimental to your productivity if you can't concentrate. Things like MP3 players, and Lunch breaks are a no no. I have so much to do on my computers that are running, that I don't even feel like listening to music any more :(.. which is actually a good thing :)
