ClipText Plugin

The cliptext plugin manages a collection of text clips for easy access. When the cliptext plugin is loaded, it shows on the right side of the screen in the plugin tabs. To display or hide the Cliptext panel, click ClipText plugin in the plugins menu.

Inserting cliptext item into the document

Double-click the item in the list box, and the text will be inserted into the active editor.

Add cliptext item

Click right mouse button on the list box. Then choose Add command in the popup menu. This command presents the Add dialog box.

Remove cliptext item

Click right mouse button on the list box. Then choose Remove command in the popup menu.

Edit cliptext item

Click right mouse button on the list box. Then choose Modify command in the popup menu. This command presents Edit dialog box. In this dialog box, you can edit the title and text of the current selected item.

In cliptext you can define a Hot Spot using ^! The Hot Spot is the cursor location when the cliptext is inserted into the document. If there is any selected text in the document, cliptext with Hot spot will be wrapped around both sides of the selection.

For example, if following cliptext exists:

    <TITLE>^!<TITLE>
    
Then this will cause the selected text to become an HTML compliant title.
