What can you do today on Linux, that you couldn't do back in say 1999?
With risk of insulting ever linux kernel developer (and bsd for that matter), what the fuck are you idiots working on and wasting your lives away on?
Shit, the Linux kernel code was developed back in the 1990's or whenever (and BSD even earlier), so why the fuck are you still working on kernels? really..... People fire up their linux boxes to run firefox and openoffice. And, they could do that in fucking 1999. So could you please tell me what you monkeys on typewriters and other morons are actually doing?
Maybe I'm missing something here, but it seems like a bunch of bees flying into the beehive to do their work, not realizing that they are a bunch of tools. Your beehive manager says MAKE MORE HONEY, but why?

Now, does Andrew Tanenbaum have an answer to this? I don't know. I'm not familiar enough with kernels.... and I don't have a few months of my life to waste researching what the latest idiot features of the kernel are on Linux that don't help anyone.. Because I could seriously fire up a 1999 linux computer and get all the work done I need.
Maybe if you idiots started to actually work on something that would attract people to your operating system, like say a kernel that could run Games like DirectX on windows can, than people would actually give a shit about what you are doing on your gay kernel....
All the Linux kernel code was basically written in the 1990's and you faggots are still working on it? What are you actually doing that is helping anyone? Supporting new hardware that didn't previously work? Okay dip shit, maybe, like writing a module outside the kernel would be a good design decision..
Again, I don't know enough about kernels, but I can tell you one thing here: it smells like shit, something is up with software development and something is seriously wrong here.
