~ unique atom integer movie
A physicist discovers that each atom kind (on the periodic table) has a unique integer that identifies it, which gives the strange possibility that each atom is like a computer data structure with a unique integer for each structure.

For example, all hydrogen atoms are identifiable by a hidden (but now discovered) integer inside the atom. All oxygen atoms have an integer the same too. Ions are similar.

It's not just an integer that he makes up or derives, he actually finds an integer stored inside the (or with each) atom.
