~ this is not a scam movie
A man gets an email claiming he has inheritance money owed to him if he contacts such and such person. Of course he writes it off as a Nigerian scam.

But in fact he really does have inheritance money from a family member.

He also gets letters in the mail, after the emails are simply deleted by him. Originally the person contacting him could not find his physical address so sent him emails as his email was the only way he could be found on the internet.

When he receives the letters in the mail he starts thinking to himself "wow, how far will these people go to scam me? Now they are sending physical mail in addition to email?"

Eventually he discovers it is not a scam and he was simply crying wolf too early... or crying "Nigerian Scammer" too early.

Nowadays whenever someone actually does offer you significant amounts of money you assume it is a scam, due to the overwhelming scams floating about.
