~ riaa are you fucking dumb or retarded
Heading out to the store to buy some music CD's (there is nothing like buying physical music you can hold in your hand, sorry Steve Jobs and your iTunes attempts)... you start to ask yourself: Is the RIAA and all record producers stupid? Are they dumb? Are they morons?

Here's the problem, let me spell it out. Buying plastic CD cases that fucking crack in half and have a big ugly crack on them the first time you drop it (happens more than once, so probably the case will shatter at some point)... You end up just saying "fuck it, I'll just get it on torrent, or itunes".

Hey morons: develop a plastic transparent case that doesn't crack and maybe people will buy music from stores.

So they came up with this little cardboard case, but now it no longer fits in the cd racks and cd stands. Great. So you can no longer slide your CD into the rack.

Are humans really this stupid? The RIAA with all their money can't figure out how to make a CD case that doesn't crack, or isn't some retarded cardboard slip that you cannot display in your cd stand.

So off to the torrents people go... the ugly case will probably crack, so I'll just download the music, says Billy. And Bob.

Indeed when Jane then goes and buys the cardboard slip case that's a compromise, but fuck you if I can't go and put that cardboard slip into a cd stand at home. Off to the downloads Jane goes.

RIAA are you stupid? maybe hire a physicist to come up with a uncrackable case. Maybe I am wrong and that is not possible in this shit pile universe. We invented plastics how many years ago and they still have shit quality plastics. Here's the real reason that is likely: the RIAA cheaps out and uses shit quality plastic to save pennies, and secretly enjoys it when a cd case cracks or shatters, because then you have to go buy another one.

Then you've got the whole problem of CD's scratching and the music skipping because of those scratches or finger prints, plus plastic degrades after a few years... This is all great stuff for capitalism, products that fail: more money over time. Except when people figure it out in the long run, and then capitalism really succeeds: someone comes up with a better solution. Too bad capitalism is still failing at this point... Waiting, waiting, waiting.... I guess the solution is: iTunes, Torrent. And the RIAA can't quite figure out why they are losing sales and people are downloading music and sharing it. Hmph. Funny thing these.

Fucking edukate yourself, faggots.
