~ reset point movie
A man keeps getting killed, multiple times, and does not understand what is going on. He has vague memories of some of his deaths, and assumes he is just remembering incorrectly and is having false memories.

What he doesn't know yet is every time he gets killed, he gets reset back to a certain point, exactly one year before his death.

Many of the people in his life already know this and are using it against him. It is a parallel universe system with a reset point to spawn you into another universe exactly similar to the one you died in, one year before you death occurred. There are slight changes in the events that occur in the spawned parallel universe, but mostly everything is the same.

Some people figure this out and abuse it, in order to meet him again, multiple times, at the same locations, to try to change things. Women, in particular, are abusing it in order to try and date him, by changing their behavior when they meet him. Business men are using it to try and close better deals with him.

He ends up in psych wards and the psychiatrists consider him delusional, likely schizophrenia or some form of psychosis.

One day he is playing a video game (Grand Theft Auto) and he dies in the game, and goes back to save state (previous point in the game saved to memory or disk). He thinks nothing about it, but then he gets killed in the game once again. Now he pauses the game, starts pacing his house, and says "wait, this is what is happening to me, for God's sake."... Then he starts questioning whether he could be living in a video game, as his life right now feels as if he is getting reset back to certain save points. He then tries writing down what his last save point was but his memory is vague. Then he says "If I write down the save point in this parallel game, or universe, how am I ever going to obtain what I write down if I end up in another parallel fork or parallel universe?". This drives him insane as he cannot figure out how he would ever communicate with himself in another parallel fork. He then says "if I tell a psychiatrist any of this, they'll think I am crazy, so I have to keep this to myself".

He ends up getting killed again shortly after this realization or theory that he is in some kind of sick twisted video game, and wakes up exactly a year before. He has a vague memory now that he is in this sick twisted system, and immediately runs to his office where he has paper, to write down that this morning he likely woke up in save point, and writes the date down, and tries to remember how or why he was killed. It appears that some of his memories, but not all, are partially and vaguely transferred into the new parallel universe or game state, so it is extremely difficult to remember other parallel universes, but vague memories do enter his mind.

Problems with the plot: what happens to the other parallel universe with all the people in it, after they kill him? Why would the people he meets, end up in this other parallel universe and not stay in the one they originally were in, if this main character dies? Is he in an A.I. system or simulation in which he is the main character, and if he dies, everyone else (the whole video game) exits/ends, and then all the characters get brought into a new game instance? This is how video games work, unless it is multiplayer and then all the main players need to die for the game to exit.
