The singularity is supposed to be some grand gathering of intelligence into a single piece of shit.
Actually the singularity, appears, from my studies, to be a grand gathering of utter stupidity causing the entire human race to become more mentally ill and confused than in year 1750.
i.e. with all the access to technology we have, humans are not so intelligent. Your typical facebook user, or perl programmer, gay homosexual child rapist, or transgender transexual confused feminist social justice warrior, is an example of where we are at. This does not an intelligent a make.
Then you've got top scientists spouting utter nonsense such as Lawrence Krauss saying that A.I. is not a threat. Whelp, back to Dijkstra's writings you go.
Even Elon Musk sees the threat of A.I., or Sam Harris. At least there are a couple of intelligent people around. But exactly two intelligent people don't make a singularity. They make what's called a stupidity, because they are outnumbered by idiots no matter how intelligent two people are. Even a group of 505 smart people doesn't really add a drop to the ocean.
