Why should someone who spends 5 years developing software which will replicate, not get compensated just as much as a hardware or medical drug, easily replicatable through chemistry, and that hardware or medicine idea will replicate on people's brains just as software replicates on hard drives and usb sticks? There is also improvements that can be done to chemical formulas just as improvements to software can be done - why aren't medical formulas on a github server?
This is a paradox difficult to say anything about without being a hypocrite to the finest. Ideas replicate, all patents are ideas. Software is ideas, what is the difference. Software may replicate quicker, but that's just the first excuse of a hypocrite budding.
Looking at it fully honestly could even destroy your line of work, income, or living. A sad paradox or a freedom paradox? Or a medical torrent?
