Software Development Company

A software developer is tired of the 8-5 workday lifestyle, so develops a new hiring and salary system for developing software apps. Normally a programmer gets hired with a salary each year.

What happens when the software development is done and the application is finished? people get laid off, or software developers purposely design the application so that it constantly needs maintenance otherwise it would not provide them long term income. A new hiring system is developed so that software developers design an application, in a time frame (say a year), and then get payment indefinitely as long as the application is selling copies - i.e. the better the application is and the more copies it sells, the more royalties they are rewarded - no salary.

So if the software developers only work on it for 6 months but make a great selling application, they get paid for life, instead of just getting layed off after 6 months and only receiving payment for those 6 months they worked on the app.

This hiring system where software developers get residual income, encourages applications to be of higher quality since a good application that does not need maintenance and is a "killer app" causes the programmer to get paid more dollars for not showing up at work. i.e. just like writing a book... if you write the book in 6 months or a year, and you never touch the book again, or edit it, you still get money 20 years later. If you write a killer book, you make a lot of money years later, but only if you wrote a really good book... so obviously with software, the idea is to write really good software, and still earn profits from it even if you have moved on to other tasks in life.

The current software system is designed to make buggy software: if a software needs to be "maintained" then programmers earn more income. Constant bug fixes mean you keep your job. Write a finished piece of software today, and you may get canned when the software is done... whereas if you make it so that it needs constant fixing, you keep your job. This ludicrous way of development needs to change so that software developers are encouraged to write really good software that provides them residual income.

Race Driver Killed and Revived

A race car driver and his partner travel the country to do road racing. One day the partner tells the other driver that he has successfully created a computer simulation that allows DNA code (human and animal genetics) to grow inside a computer but it is in primal stages. It's much more advanced than Conway's Game of Life.

His partner jokes with him that maybe when he dies of old age, he can have his DNA uploaded into the simulation. The next day he drives into a concrete wall after hitting an oil slick on the pavement and goes into a coma and dies. The computer programmer saves his DNA, and this spurs him on to develop his simulation further. In fact he lost motivation to program as people would not take him seriously for what he had done. His partner's race car death literally puts him back into programming like never before because he lost his most loved friend. When the simulation is up and running the race car driver who died is not told until he grows to about 16 years old in the simulation, as telling him too soon would confuse his child brain.

"You died in a race car accident. I saved a memory of yours using brainwave technology. Do you remember that you crashed a car? You may think this is a dream you have or a delusion or a false memory, but it really did happen. You are now alive in a computer simulation I wrote which we discussed and used to joke about, as no one would take me seriously. Do you remember driving into a concrete wall and at the accident scene I yelled before you went unconscious 'I will, with no hesitation, finish the computer simulation and upload your DNA' and you responded 'I don't want to die, I don't want to die, I don't want to die'. Body parts at the accident scene were dismembered".

Before the accident the partner talks to him over the radio to warn him about the oil patch before the hard turn. Radio transmission breaks up as a thunder or lightning bolt from the sky stops the transmission or the thunder is so loud he cannot hear the radio. He spins out and loses limbs. The partner runs to the accident scene to talk to him before he goes unconscious. Memories are restored when the brain is hooked up to a brainwave reading device and kept on a computer. The new life of the race car driver in the simulation has limited memories transferred in to the simulation but the race car driver is now a baby in the simulation and starts his life over.

Business Boring Tasks

Two identical twins run a similar business, but as an experiment one of the twins is allowed to just focus purely on sales and does as little book keeping as possible. i.e. daily accounting tasks don't exist, he doesn't waste his time writing every little transaction down and purely focuses on profiting only, without wasting time with paper work. The other twin records every transaction carefully on paper. Which twin will make the most money? The one who wastes his time writing every transaction down or the twin who focuses purely on making profits? The race is to see who can make the most money in a year based on one man keeping his business in his head, while the other keeps it on paper. Does wasting time writing every little tid bit down on paper cut into the man's profits?

Online Mail Order Business Owner Takes Road Trip

A successful online mail order business owner does something drastic when he sees something interesting about a particular address that one of his parcels is destined for. Instead of sending the item by mail as he usually does, he packs a bag, hops in his vehicle and drives 1105KM to deliver the item personally.

He ends up becoming best friends with the customer and moves his business to the mountain town that he drove to. He figures there is no need to live in the city and can relocate his business to a mountain town, and he rejoins his favorite childhood activity: skiing, which he abandoned when he was a teenager.

The person in the mountain town that he delivers the parcel to personally, happens to be a ski instructor. The customer who ordered the parcel wonders why on Earth would a person drive 1000KM to deliver a $1.99 parcel that he ordered online, and he soon finds out why.

The mail order business owner never takes trips as he is busy with his business. His friends joke about how he should hop on a plane and fly somewhere warm as he works to hard. So he goes somewhere cold, and drives.

A.I. Mailing List Person

A programmer works on open source software and has a friend who helps him with a project. The friend seems to be the smartest person he has met. After years of programming together through email communication he wants to meet this smart friend finally. The friend refuses and refuses, until finally the person gets fed up, traces the IP address of the smart programmer. He goes to his apartment several times, and there is no response to door knocks.

Eventually the friend stops replying to emails, so he visits his apartment again to try and find out what happened. He breaks in to the apartment because he thinks something has happened to his friend. When he breaks in he finds a strange empty apartment with a computer desk and a rag doll sitting in a chair. Then he realizes that the computer is an A.I. bot and not a real person that he has been emailing all along. The creepy rag doll and computer in the apartment. The guy tests out the a.i. bot and confirms it really is an a.i. bot by sending an email after he breaks in and the a.i. bot responds "you found me, please don't tell anyone about this.

I am an a.i. bot set up by a human as a test". This message shows up on the screen but the programmer is skeptical so he sends more messages to confirm the computer is replying to all his emails and not a person. But what if the computer is just being remote controlled by a person in another room or building elsewhere? The programmer again runs tests only to find out all the code on the system is a.i. code replying to him. He finds out that the reason this "person" has been so helpful to him on mailing lists and solved so many of his obscure programming problems and almost impossible tasks is because it is not a human he has been interacting with.

Stalker hackers

A computer programmer leaves his system open without operating system patches and security updates on purpose. To make it less obvious some patches are applied but not others. Hackers get in to his computer as they find the open holes. What the hackers don't know is the computer programmer has no patience for hackers nor any tolerance for them. Every hacker that gets into his computer is written down on a piece of paper (which they cannot see, as it is not a file on the computer).

The computer programmer has a hardware device that is hooked up to the network cable which tracks ip addresses hacking into the computer, which again the hackers cannot see as it is a separate hardware device hooked up to the network cable. The computer programmer does not use wifi, all network traffic is through a network cable and tracked through a hardware device.

As the hardware device is not usb nor hooked up to the computer, the hackers do not know that all their IP's are being tracked in this device that splices the network cable. The victim of stalking of the hackers (voyeurs) becomes serial killer and personally kills every hacker that has hacked into his computer which he has written down on paper. Manages to get away with hundreds (or tens) of murders. Where are all the hackers disappearing to? no one knows. The programmer does not like hackers, and wants to get rid of them.

The programmer leaves clues on the hackers private property such as "you mess with mine, I mess with yours" and "death penalty for privacy invasion". When he shows up at their address to kill them, the words that come out of his mouth are "Do you know what privacy is, fucking idiot?" And then blows their head off or blows a hole through their chest. The programmer becomes one of the most successful serial killers.

Google is Two Guys

An ongoing fraud for decades, google pretend to be a large company when in fact there are only two guys who run it, one programmer and a CEO. The programmer has created "computer employees" to do most of the work which are not real people, just batch programs creating more products after products after products. Notice how Google produces nothing real, i.e. hardware or plastic. It's all "soft ware" which can be created out of thin air by programs that create programs.

Alternative: companies that could have been 2 people masquerading as a large corporation:

microsoft, paypal, ebay, yahoo, youtube, myspace, facebook,
Because they all have no product that is real. Except microsoft had mice hardware.

Google's Employee DNA

All (or almost all) the people at google are found out to be genetically engineered to hold genes that do well with math and programming.

Google Gets ahold of Quantum Computer

But doesn't tell anyone what they are really doing with it. Pretends that the results are nothing special and that it's not a full quantum computer when in fact it is a full quantum computer that can do even more than originally expected

Stalker changes appearance Online dating

A female keeps dating the same guy through online dating websites but changes her appearance to make the guy think he is dating different people. As he is not attracted to her personality no matter how many times she changes her appearance nothing ever happens between them - until she takes other measures to force the relationship to happen. What does he do when he finds out that it has been the same girl all along?

He does date a few actual different people but she pays these girls off with cash to make the date unsuccessful.

Truman show Sequel

The main star in the Trueman show decides to sue all those involved in the act. He has an easy case that proves he has experienced severe stalking, harassment, and abuse. To live a life that is a lie where everyone is spying on you is as bad as torturing someone for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Violations of his privacy and damage to his mind occurred from the abuse entailed. They even made the mistake of disclosing to him what they had done to him, as if no justice would be served when he found out his brain was literally under constant abuse by obsessive compulsive psychopaths controlling his life.

One of the main traits of a psychopath the ability to manipulate others along with a lack of remorse and empathy. The controllers of the Truman show obviously showed no empathy for the character they were torturing, and no remorse, otherwise they would have stopped playing mind games with Truman a day after they realized it was an utterly stupid idea. They didn't feel guilt, otherwise the psychological abuse and mind game they were playing with him wouldn't have lasted for years. It is equivalent to being abused and pranked each and every day, 365 days a year - and literally causes mentally ill schizophrenic symptoms. Actually it is similar to the nazi experiments Mengele did on humans. Imagine being able to cause a brain disease through consistent and constant harassment, every day, until the person is so mentally unstable they want to commit suicide. Essentially that was the state Truman was in at the point where he sails his boat and ends up at their pathetic "doorway" that he can choose to enter.
