~ men shelter movie
A multi millionaire can do anything with his life: start another business to make more than he already has (millions), retire very young, spend his money on anything he wants (cars, houses, boats), hang out at clubs for the rest of his life...

He is a free man. And he has millions of dollars. So what does he do? Opens up a shelter for men, as he notices there are women's shelters but no men's shelters. He is going to treat each shelter he opens like a successful business or a chain - make one work, then copy it and start a new one just like it.

He figures the best way to run the soup kitchens and shelters is to have the struggling men come in and work; instead of paying staff, he pays homeless men, and only has additional professional staff when required. After all working in the shelter or soup kitchen gives the homeless person something to do, keeps them warm (or cool in the summer), and stops them from hanging around the streets buying liquor to deal with their life pains.

Scenes: woman comes in for soup at the male soup kitchen, and says "I hear the soup is good here". They all let her eat, but little does she know this is a male shelter. Eventually she figures it out. She says "isn't it a bit sexist to have a shelter just for men? There are a lot of struggling women out there". Everyone in the soup kitchen laughs, for an extended amount of time. She says "What, why is what I said funny?" Then someone chimes in: "you want to tell my why the fuck there have only been women's shelters open for the past, oh I don't know, several decades, that don't allow or welcome men, even though there are more homeless men then there are women in this part of the country?". She says "women are oppressed and need more help than men, they have always been oppressed, haven't you heard of feminism and why it was started?" then someone chimes in again "did you not hear what he just said about more men being homeless than women? Who is oppressed now?"

The owner of the shelters gets lots of donations to keep them running, by explaining to people on the phone (he has a call center) that the homeless men participate in the upkeep and as staff of the shelters to keep them busy, and the people on the phone think it is a great idea so they donate. He runs his call center like a business, selling the idea to the people who are potential donaters. Why would people donate unless they thought the product they were buying was a good one, run properly, unique, and neccessary?

Although he starts it with his own money, the donations start to take over, covering everything, so it is now a self sustaining charity without further cash input from his own funds. However, if the donations ever slow down or do not cover all expenses, he is always willing to take some of his money and inject it into the charity, to keep it going. But his idea is so good that he does not need to rescue it, except in the early startup days.
