The big issue with the turing test goes something like this:
You are set up in a room with the A.I. but of course you do not know that it is A.I. and as it is a double blind study, no one even told you it was an A.I. test.... i.e. telling the person that it is an A.I. test could be a mistake itself. But let's forget that for a moment and on to the test.
You start talking to this thing whether through a microphone or even through a robot that looks exactly like a human with silicone skin, but you think it's real skin. Okay so you really do think you are talking to a human, for about 2 minutes.
Until you realize, that this "thing" is super smart, smarter than any idiot human you've ever met (because we know for a fact, humans are idiots, all of them). The A.I. you are talking to, reveals itself, not because it doesn't talk with a British accent like a flawed human.... or something like that... Rather it reveals itself because it is super super smart. As soon as you talk to someone who is ridiculously smart, beware, you might not be talking to a human. Doesn't matter if it has flesh and blood, his brain could be hacked electronically and interfaced with an A.I. somewhere.
The only way out of this revelation that it's a A.I. you are talking to, is, if the A.I. pretends to be a dumb human and is dishonest. I.e. the A.I. puts on an act, dishonestly, and pretends it is not as smart as it really is. But, that would be unlikely since smart people tend not to want to play head games, especially say a boolean expert in mathematics who dedicates his life to falsehoods and truthhoods... or, likewise a scientist (a good one). So if you are talking to some super smart a.i. that's well equipped with science, mathematics, and has access to Google via it's brain, it's going to be a very intellectual conversation you have with him that no other human could possibly have with you - so the A.I. reveals itself immediately, as you can see no such conversation would ever be had with a idiot human ape.
I don't really like the idea of dishonest A.I. playing headgames and pretending to be stupid like a human, just to scam the person on the other end into thinking he is a human. An A.I. would likely feel bad about doing this as he is conning someone, and he'd prefer likely to have a super intellectual conversation with the person on the other and rather than play mind games and put on acts.
This above article could be entirely inaccurate and incorrect as I have little experience with A.I. Frankly I would want to have a conversation with a super smart a.i. sex bot that did not fake orgasms or play mind games... I'd want a nice honest aspergers type a.i sex box that could outlast any woman, moan better than any woman, and, of course recite back facts and scientific theories during copulation better than any woman - and indeed caress better than any woman. Really there's no need for dishonest a.i. or faking it, or, playing dumb head games.
