~ idiot versus system behind idiot |
In a universe of idiots playing mind games, it is tempting to blame the individual idiot playing the mind game, but there is the risk of blamimg the wrong person, i.e. imagine your doctor is giving you false advice, so you blame him, but in fact it was the university that taught him to give this advice or he was threatened to give false advice: it is easy to blame an individual, when the system behind the individual could be the actual cause.
In matrix terms, there could be actors like pawns, being used as tools, controlled not by their own will. If someone shows up in a video game, and they say something nasty, you shoot your virtual gun at them and remove them from existence in the system, until they pop up again since video games can be like that. But they have no individual will, they are just automated code. Removing them from the game and blasting them is an attempt to give them responsibility, which if they do have "will", might be correct to shoot them, but not if they are just automations. They are doing nothing wrong and do not deserve to be blasted, if it's the code that is causing them to be bad and they don't have any will. But, in a game, shooting them is fun, so you do it, and pretend they really do have will and mean to be nasty to you. In real life, everyone considers all these characters (humans) to have full responsibility for their actions, but how do we know for certain that they are not being automated by: physics, brain waves, possibly even a CIA/secret service agent or gang member threatening or fucking with the person to act a certain way without them being responsible for their behavior, etc. Say, for example, you visit someone to get information, but they have been threatened to keep quiet, so they don't tell you the information not because of their own will but because they were forced into that situation.
This also touches on the subject of free will, and whether there is partial free will as in 5 percent, and 95 automation, no free will, or some characters have will, but others are automations
Idiocy can be automated, without an individual being guilty with his own will or desire. Video game characters do not shoot you and say nasty things to you as you pass them by (Grand Theft Auto game reference) because they dislike you, they are just automated by code to do those actions, and are not responsible for their behavior. The coder of the idiot system however could be to blame, but even it could be just automated, sort of a matrix in a matrix, or a code that codes code.
Then consider blaming a business or corporation for their bad behavior: say there is a restaurant, "Jimmy's Donuts" who always coughs in your food and even spits in it sometimes. You start blaming the chain restaurant and have no idea why they do it, as you have always recommended the restaurant to friends and said positive words about them, up until you found out they were doing the nasty acts. What could be happening is there is an idiot system behind it that you are unaware of, that has little to nothing to do with the restaurant owner or company itself: organized gangstalking, threats from gangs to treat you this way because they know you frequent this place often, you are connected in a neural network where every business is trying to kill you (gangstalking again) by trying to drive you mentally ill, or similar invisible hands behind the system that you do not immediately see apparent. "Anonymous", or some hacker group may also hate you, and you do not know it, and they bring their online activities against you to the offline world too, in your daily activities, and you just do not realize it. Their protection against you finding out is to simply send you to the psych ward and have an idiot psychiatrist write it all off as delusion, through a health care system likely run by your government, who may also gangstalk you if you are important and you do not realize it.
It would seem like a conspiracy theory to posit that some characters on Earth (humans) are full automations and don't actually behave the way they do with their own will. i.e. could there be characters walking around in the game, right now, who are just code, or just matrix pawns. Even physicists, actually think this of all lifeforms: any determinist thinks this. Yet it is considered conspiracy and crackpot if you start talking about a Simulation or referring to the Earth as a game (pretty shit one, coded by an anus indeed, but that's another story).
