~ general intelligence movie
A new technology is available where you can choose the type of child you will have using genetic selection techniques.

A family decides they want to have a genius piano player as a child, so they splice the genes in such a way that the child will only be focused on piano playing, similar to Bach (his uncles were all professional musicians, therefore he had the genes to be obsessed with music).

When the family has this child, he is completely disinterested in the piano even though he is good at it, and takes on other hobbies instead. The parents try to encourage him as hard as possible to play the piano. The child does not know that he was specially selected for piano playing as that would possibly make the child feel coerced. They only do friendly encouragement.

It turns out this genius piano player child rarely ever touches a piano and becomes extremely intelligent in a completely different area of study.

The parents find out that selecting a child to be a genius at piano, turned out to be actually selecting a child to be a genius generally. This prodigy child ends up solving a massive world problem that has nothing to do with pianos or even music. The child is generally intelligent, even though he was selected for a specific intelligence.

Movie resolutions: does the child eventually in the end surf back to music after he has accomplished so much in his other field?
