A man and his friend are discussing dating and how to meet women. His friend says all you really have to do is just talk to women when you are out shopping or out in town, there is no need for all these complex dating schemes or meetup or blind date schemes. His friend says "DO NOT go to the self checkout, as you will not meet women cashiers... that's is the recipe for not getting a date".
So the man takes his advice and starts trying to meet women. It turns out that women are nasty. Every time he tries to ask a cashier out they act as though he is a predator or that men should not be allowed to do this. Right, so men should not be allowed to interact with women even though the entire purpose of humanity is to replicate your genes and pairbond. So talking to women is illegal?
So he goes into a sort of rebellious state and just opts out of the whole dating and meeting women game, to pursue other tasks in life. Then he decides to purposely go to the self checkouts and avoid women at all costs. Life is going well for him and he is doing his own thing. Then he ends up meeting a woman at a self checkout.... and revisits his friend. He says to his friend "you said DO NOT go to the self checkout? right?". His friend says "yes, those things are automated and you don't meet people that way". He responds "guess what asshole, I met my girlfriend there. I met her at the self checkout". His friend responds "what? you're fucking kidding me. So I gave you all the wrong advice. You purposely avoided women and ended up meeting one where I told you not to go... Fuck this. Awesome man, congratulations!"
