Every business keeps secrets to obtain a competitive advantage. Is there any open business model, like open source? Or just opening all your secrets cause your business to go bankrupt?
If you look at secrets, they are almost like silent lies.
Imagine someone comes to your business (successful store that sells woman's purses) and asks you: where do you get these purses from in China? what factory are these produced in at what cost?
So instead of lying, or keeping your secret, or hiding the information, you give them the details of your purse suppliers in China. So then these people go off and start a business to compete with yours and put you out of business. So you instead want to keep the secret, or lie about your supplier.. "I get these purses from Norway and Africa" you tell the person. And they don't have a fucking clue that you are lying. Or, you stay silent and don't tell them .. which effectively is the same as lying, because you are not being open and honest.
If all businesses are held together by silent lies, so that they retain their competitive advantage, what kind of a fucking society is this? What kind of horse shit universe is built on a bunch of silent lies? And how could you possibly run an open universe? I'm thinking of something like a torrent program for the universe where everyone just shares, and says "here's the shit, download it". Or to put it another way, and open source universe where not just software is open source, but everything.
Don't worry though, some libertarian capitalist, conservative, or even liberal will just come along to this wiki article and say "fuck this commie faggot, what is this the Zeitgeist pipe dream movie?". Like really, yeah, that would be just absolutely shitty, if you could walk in to a store like a torrent program and just grab products off the shelf just like a torrent program, and then give your friend some products too. Or spawn a new car, like a cheat applied to a video game, that just magically creates the car from nothing. Or an energy source, like oh I don't know, star power on earth, where energy is free as it uses some nuclear equation. Wouldn't that just absolutely be completely shitty, if energy was free and you could create a little miniature star in your house and supply your entire household with energy without ever being a slave to some bill payment each month.
But man, you could just create a system of free energy and keep it a secret, then go and sell the energy at a cost to millions of people. Then you would be rich. Just keep the secret and don't tell anyone, and do the silent lie thing. Wouldn't that be just awesome if you knew of an energy source, and kept it a secret, and just started an energy company. Then after 30 years of being in the business when you have a billion dollars in your bank account, decide to open source the energy system and tell people you scammed everyone for 30 years... here's the source code to the energy system, fuck you faggots, "I'm retired". Or the same goes for a Tesla car, or patent on anything, or whatever. Tell a white lie or keep a secret for a while until you are a rich mofo, then be a charity about it.
And then tell everyone you are against commie fags, because we all know that everyone that wants a open source universe (not just software but hardware too) just has to be a commie fag, or a horrible person, or an equalist or an egalitarian, or an anticapitalist.
The only problem with the anticapitalist theory (i.e. this pipe dream must be some commie horse shit, or zeitgeist movie horse shit) is that if stuff was open sourced, the knowledge/source would be a pretty damn good capital. The more open and more source there is to stuff (not just software), the more capital there is, because knowledge is capital, and capital is knowledge, if you think capital is something other than money or stock certificates.
But for now, fuck this universe, and any faggot who mocks open source ideas other than open source software. Fuck you all. Fuck the world.
